It's been a long time since I was able to blog something. I just can't think of anything i should be sharing since maybe, i am not into sharing my experiences and everything.
So, what about me? The semester has began. It's been a month now. Everybody is busy, so I am. Ang dami lang talagang ginagaw, but still I manage to write my own story-- i'm talking about a piece (basta ang hirap i-explain). I am happy, very happy in fact, to be able to start writing my own, very own story. Well, It's about me, my friends and other imaginary people i included in the casts. :)))
Well, I think this is NON-SENSE. tama na!!! pangit eh :)

unknown exercise---html forms
Anyway, I enjoyed doing it. It is not really hard because it seems that we're used to HTML already. One more thing is that W3School is just a click away.

google searching
And as i worked on it, I figured out, it is not difficult (iniisip ko lang pala iyon).
Two weeks ago, I got my paper in this exercise. I can't believe i only got one mistake. I was not even sure about may answers then.
There's more exercises... and i have to make a blog about it again.... :))))
...img mapping
This exercise is one of the hardest exercises i have done for cmsc2 lab. Our instructor already taught us how to and w3schools is there to be our guide, but still i found it difficult.
It was my first time to do image mapping. I was not that familiar with that thing, and the hell, it was a take home exercise. Since it was the first, I really don't know hat to do, thanks to my cab classmate who helped me finish it. We made it several hours before the given deadline, but still our time wasn't enough to be able to make it perfect.
The exercise is that we should map our own picture. Once we click a part of our face ,for example, eyes, we'll go on other page which contains the description of that part. (this exercise is something about the five senses).
Like what I've said before, I found it difficult. To be able to map that certain part of the photo, some computations should be made. Therefore, simple mathematics is needed. I was not able to perfectly map the photo, but at least I was able to get 3 out of 5 correct position.
And because i became impatient, and our time was not enough, I submitted my unfinished exercise.

Googgle Docs...
We haven't met our Instructor for two weeks as the classes resume... It was a long Christmas break for us. Many days ago, we had our first meeting for the year 2011.
As usual, we had our mini lecture. It's all about CLOUD COMPUTING. I first heard cloud computing during IT1 lecture class and have done some sort of exercises in IT1 lab.
Trying google docs was the fourth exercise we had. It's fun as I always say. What made it more challenging was the twist that we must share it to some of our classmates, and must receive a comment from them.
While doing the exercise, I am very nervous, and i wanted to finish it as early as possible, because I have an examination right after CMSC2 lab hours. And I'm not prepared yet. I thought I would finish it early, but I've thought wrong.
I finished the exercise 10 minutes before the time. I had no time to review my notes...but that was ok.
I realized after this exercise that you would only know if you really learned the lesson or not if you have successfully done it's application...(share lang)=)

Week after that "terminal choo choo", as what I called it, another activity was presented to us in our CMSC2 lab. It was the same as "the terminal choo choo". We again use the terminal and the editor for this exercise. I think it was not that hard compared to last week's exercise.
I had fun doing the exercise though I belonged to those who passed their papers one minute before the time. It was fun because it's as if I'm playing a game I'm not used to play but still rest assured that I will win the end.
Unlike the last week's exercise, I somewhat know what I'm supposed to do. What took me so long to finish it was the fact5 that it is indeed long, and i was confused to on what command I must used to end up with the right result.
Just this moment, a thought came to my mind. I wonder why every time my instructor is giving us her lecture, I am thinking I already knew those stuff, and it's easy as 1-2-3. But when it's time for exercise, I become nervous as if I know nothing.(daw?)
the terminal...
It was last year when we had our second activity in CMSC2 lab- the terminal choo choo (i forgot what my instructor exactly called it). As far as I remember, when we had this exercise, I was quite nervous because it took me so long to perfectly do it. It is because I know what our instructor asked us to do but i don't know how to do it. I almost consumed more or less two hours for it to be done. Even though I have already done it before when I'm taking IT1, I found it difficult. One reason I thought why i found it hard is because I really don't understand why we should learn those stuff. It was a factor why I found no interest in studying it well.
Upon doing the exercise, I remembered one of my reasons why I should do the exercise like that during IT1. I've done it before for my grade's sake, aside from learning new things of course. And as it came my way for the second time, I somehow understood that it is important to know those stuff. I should learn about those, not just for passing the course but to be able to understand its importance in the world of computer.
All in all, the activity was quite interesting but still, it was fun. And before I forget, I just want to thank my instructor and my seatmate. Why? Because without their imparted knowledge, especially my instructor's, I won't be able to finish my second activity... =)
